Sfoggia Agriculture Division

A story of family, innovation and a passion for agricultural engineering

Sfoggia Agriculture Division is an Italian manufacturer of agricultural machinery, specialising in the design and production of precision pneumatic seed drills, transplanters, inter-row cultivators and fertilising equipment. Since 1956, the company has been developing Made in Italy solutions for professional farming, combining industrial experience, mechanical expertise and technological innovation.
Founded by Antonio and Narciso Sfoggia, the company celebrates 70 years of history in agricultural mechanisation in 2026. An entrepreneurial journey that, from its origins in mechanical engineering, has led to the development of a production facility specialising in agricultural machinery, capable of supporting the evolving needs of farmers.
Today, Sfoggia Agriculture Division designs and builds machines intended for different crops, soil types and operating conditions. Its solutions include mechanical and electronic systems and technologies for precision farming, including ISOBUS, GPS and Elektra Drive, developed to improve the control and management of agricultural operations.
Continuous attention to research, product evolution and the needs of operators has accompanied the company’s international growth. Through its presence in foreign markets and the relationship with its sales network, Sfoggia brings the experience and technology of Italian agricultural mechanisation to an international context, keeping build quality, technical competence and attention to the needs of those who work in the agricultural sector every day at the core.

Our history

From mechanics to precision farming

1956
The birth of Sfoggia

“I was 24 years old and had big plans in my head. Accustomed to sacrifice and determination, I decided to take on a new challenge with myself by creating a company.”

It was January 1956 when Narciso Sfoggia, together with his father Antonio, founded Sfoggia Costruzioni Meccaniche.

The company began its activity by designing and building plants, structural steelwork and structures applied to agriculture, initially dedicated mainly to irrigation and water management.

Among the first important projects were the lock gates of the port of Jesolo, which are still operational today.

1976
The growth of the company

Over the years the company grew, increasing the number of employees and progressively expanding its production spaces.

In 1976, the second plant was inaugurated, located in via Feltrino Sud 170 in Montebelluna, in the province of Treviso.

The company's growth was accompanied by an increasingly clear vision: to develop innovative products and specialise in mechanics applied to agriculture.

In 1978, Sfoggia received the Mappamondo d'Oro award, a recognition given as a testament to dedication to work and the results achieved.

1980
Agricultural specialisation

It was in the 1980s that Sfoggia began to develop some of the machines that would mark the evolution of the brand.

The Gamma 132, the first pneumatic seed drill for maize, and the California, among the first transplanters developed in Italy, were born.

The company also began to participate in the main national and international trade fairs, presenting its machines to an increasingly wide audience of sector operators.

In the following years, the range continued to diversify with new models and with the growth of an engineering department dedicated to design and development.

This led to the creation of the Delta pneumatic vegetable seeder, the Thema inter-row cultivator, the Sigma 2000 pneumatic disc seeder for maize and the Itala gripper-type transplanter.

These models represent some of the fundamental milestones in Sfoggia's technological evolution and form the basis of the development that has led to the current product range.

2000
A new generation

In 2000, Narciso Sfoggia passed the reins of the company to his children, guiding them towards a new entrepreneurial phase increasingly focused on the agricultural sector.

The family thus continues to carry forward the company project, keeping the values of experience, innovation, commitment and attention to the product at the centre.

2014
Electronics enter the seeding process

An important moment in Sfoggia's recent history came in 2014, when at EIMA the company received international recognition for the application of electric systems on seed drills, among the first experiences in Italy and among the first worldwide.

It was a significant step: Sfoggia chose to invest in a new technological sector, starting a path that would lead to the increasingly advanced development of electric machine management and ISOBUS technologies.

Since then, the company has continued to invest in the development of software and electronic systems, with the aim of offering increasingly precise, intelligent and easy-to-manage machines.

Today
Italian technology for agriculture worldwide

Today, Sfoggia Agriculture Division carries forward its experience through a range of machines designed to meet the needs of modern agriculture.

Technologies include mechanical and electrical systems, GPS, ISOBUS and precision seeding solutions, with configurations and accessories designed for different crops, processes, countries and farm sizes.

Made in Italy design and construction remain central elements of the Sfoggia identity, together with the desire to continue investing in research and the improvement of its technologies.

The Sfoggia family continues to carry forward its history today, facing the challenges of a constantly evolving agriculture with the aim of creating increasingly competitive, professional and reliable products.

The value of Service

Technical assistance and after-sales support for Sfoggia agricultural machinery

For Sfoggia Agriculture Division, the quality of an agricultural machine does not end with its design and construction. The technical assistance and after-sales service represent a fundamental part of the relationship with farmers and professionals in the sector.
The company provides specialised technical personnel to support customers in the use of their agricultural machinery, offering expertise and assistance even after purchase.
The experience gained in the design and production of seed drills, transplanters, inter-row cultivators and fertilising equipment allows Sfoggia to have an in-depth knowledge of the characteristics of its solutions and the operational needs of those who use them.
The goal is to accompany the customer over time, helping to enhance the potential of the machines and promote their correct use in various agricultural applications.
Industrial experience, technical competence and after-sales support: the value of an Italian manufacturer alongside professional agriculture.
